Prospectus on the Purpose of this Blogging Exercise

The purpose of this excellent new blog is to bring a higher quality of intellectual rigor to anime blogging. The drivel that generally passes for content these days has gotten out of hand. On this site, instead of the ubiquitous episode summaries, you will find scholarly material of the highest quality. As a possessor of numerous online degrees, I will present to you some of my greatest papers. These will include:

• Naruto and Sasuke, the Challenges of Bisexual Relationships Involving an Orange Ninja Costume
• Nice Boats and Ink: The Effects of Violent Anime on the Japanese Crime Rate, A Quantitative Analysis

I also have a particular interest in Sex and Gender Roles in Anime, a topic which I believe has never been covered in anime blogging before. I also hope to address the issue of whether anime is deep, or is just entertainment. These very fresh yopics will hopefully inspire much debate on a level not yet encountered by anime bloggers.
